This is a South Carolina State Park, Huntington Beach State Park, located right outside Murrells Inlet, SC. The park is just south of Myrtle Beach, SC on highway 17. Stayed here 30 days, Dec 1 – 30 2011. It was a little cool during this time of the year, but we had a real good time. During the winter, South Carolina does some special pricing for some of their parks and this is one of them. The park is really great, well maintain, plenty of sites for the larger RVs. The park rangers and staff are very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and have a lot of hot water. There is beach access within walking distance from all campsites in the camping area. Close to Myrtle Beach and all the attractions but still out far enough to enjoy the peace and quite and see a lot of wild life to. There are 107 electric & water sites & 24 electric, water, and sewer sites. Some sites back in some pull thru. We have a 40 ft. 5th wheel and fit in easy. Had water & electric at our site. Dump station available. Direct TV, Verizon Cell & Internet worked great. Paid the winter special monthly rate. Here is the link to South Carolina State Parks & City of Myrtle Beach or Visit Myrtle Beach. I like this campground, have been here plenty of times and will continue to visit this park.
